Sausage Gravy and Lard Biscuit Workshop
Join Sarah and Val as they walk you through how to first mix and bake biscuits made from Crosswinds lard. Then while our biscuits are baking up we'll cook up some southern style sausage gravy with Crosswinds breakfast sausage and farm fresh milk. Throughout the event Sarah will be discussing all things farm production and Val will fill you in on the history and techniques of making this great meal again and again. We will all enjoy the fruits of our labors and share this lovely meal together. You will leave this class with your own jar of lard, pound of breakfast sausage, a dough blender, a full belly and a new skill!
